Fareham Creative Space
We recently entered the Resene Nature Mural competition and the design team here at Fareham Creative Space came up with a fab design.
We used the local taonga 'Wairarapa Moana' as our inspiration and highlighted a number of endangered species in our design that the Biodiversity team at the South Wairarapa District Council, local Iwi and other nature based groups are trying to draw back to the area.
We have titled our design entry 'Ripples of Nature' depicting the 'ripple effect' and how that impacts all species in the ecosystem.
Cross fingers we win.. it'd be so awesome to be able to paint this on a feature wall in Featherston and get the whole community involved.
